Chung-Yong Lee a big blow!

As I sat down on a Saturday afternoon to watch a little bit of TV i thought i would have a quick toot at twitter to see how the wanderers were doing. All BWFC tweets were about Chung-Yong Lee so I decided to delve deeper and it didn’t help my mood as all news became bad news. So now we are left for nine months without our skillful winger. Granted last season Lee tailed off towards the end of the season and Coyle tried his best to protect the winger as two years of playing without a proper rest took its tole. I Thought this season we would see the best of Lee after a pre-season with good rest and good preparation that then developed into a good form in the pre-season friendlies. We sold Matthew Taylor to WHUFC and still have Martin Petrov who failed to live up to the hype last season.

I’m not sure who Coyle will play in Lee’s place (glad we don’t have the lump Elmander to stick out there). Also of note Rodrigo Moreno played a number of games for Lee due to the lack of games or full games he played i didn’t include his stats. It will be interesting to see if Coyle dips back into the market for another right winger. With only just over a week left to go to the start of the season the excitement is building.
