There were some absolute belters in Match Day 25 of the Premier League this past weekend and I’ve short listed the five that I believe were the best. Yes Daniel Sturridge’s fantastic strike was at number six however I don’t think you can argue with the five that have been selected below.
Steven Gerrard rolled back the years with a vintage strike from outside the box – just like the Gerrard of old. Sergio Aguero saved City as his ambitious & brilliant effort left egg on the face of Pepe Reina. Gareth Bale’s thunder-bolt would win the Goal of The Week on any other week whilst Juan Mata’s first time finish was exceptionally taken. Frank Lampard also scored a goal that he is famous for – a goal that was powerful and swerving – just brilliant.
