Most Possession Wins in the Premier League So Far
Instead of analysing most Possession Wins we thought we’d make it a little different and use the frequency of possession wins to see which player is winning possession the most frequently.
Cheik Tiote comes out top of the list winning possession back every 9.82 minutes for Newcastle United. Mark Noble and Youssuf Mulumbu are tied in second place on 10.38 minutes per possession win whilst Joe Allen and Karagounis come in the final two places.
Out of the top 5 players shown below Mulumbu wins the ball most in the defensive third, Tiote in the midfield area and Joe Allen wins it most often in the Final 3rd of the pitch.
