Liverpool Vs West Brom Preview | Stats, Odds & Key Men

Steve Clarke will be hoping his West Bromwich Albion side can pull out another performance, similar to the one they showed at Manchester United recently, on Saturday, but will have to be wary of Liverpool’s brilliant first half performances so far this season.

Brendan Rodgers’ side sit in 3rd place, two points off Arsenal who lie 1st, while West Brom sit 12th, with (3) draws in their last (5) Premier League games.

Liverpool Vs West Bromwich

West Brom are yet to lose away from home this season, but with (3) draws, and their historic win at Old Trafford, it seems Clarke has made the Baggies difficult to beat away from the Hawthorns, conceding just (2) in (4) games.

Liverpool would have a perfect home record if it were not for Mauricio Pochettino’s perfect tactics at Anfield in late September, coming away from Anfield with a 1-0 win, which will help Steve Clarke when discussing tactics with his coaching staff and players ahead of the game.

Team News

Liverpool will be without star man Philippe Coutinho, Jose Enrique, Sebastian Coates and Iago Aspas.

The Baggies could be without Scott Sinclair, while Zoltan Gera and Ben Foster are lengthy doubts on the treatment table.

Of Liverpool’s 13 Premier League goals scored this season, 11 of them have come in the first half.

So far this season, Daniel Sturridge has scored (7) goals and (2) assists.

No referee has awarded more penalties since the start of last season in the Premier League than Jon Moss; with three of those coming this season. [via Stats Zone]

Predicted Line up and odds

Liverpool v WBA

Stats suggest that the game between Liverpool and West Brom could be a very tight affair, which is why I’m plumping for the draw [4/1] at Bet Victor.

Luis Suarez will look to carry on his fine form so far this season; he had (6) efforts on goal against Newcastle United last weekend, the most shots on goal according to WhoScored.com – he’s 1/2 at Bet Victor to have the most shots, not the best of odds, but compiled in an accumulator, it may be worth it.

The highest rated market on Bet Victor may also be worth having a dabble on – with Luis Suarez @ 5/1, with Morgan Amalfitano @ 8/1.
