M’Vila warned off Anfield move

Rubin Kazan’s French international midfielder Yann M’Vila was warned off a move to Liverpool in the January transfer window.

M’Vila has only been at the Russian club since July 2013 yet there were numerous reports that he would be joining Liverpool in January, the move did not materialise and it appears that he has become very unsettled.

Manager Ribat Bilyaletdinov had this to say “He has to prove his value and work like everyone else. I don’t mean that he doesn’t work, but we can see that he misses France.

“In January M’Vila behaved badly – one day he trained, one day he didn’t.

“Maybe his agents had promised him something. He thought he was already in Liverpool.

“I told him: ‘It is not your level. If you go, you will be on the bench’. He was very disappointed.

“Now I haven’t seen him for a while. I have been told he is in France to cure an injury. Even if he is back to full fitness, I don’t know where to play him.”

News of M’Vila being unsettled will certainly spark plenty of interest in the French international. He is certain to be a starter for France during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and a good tournament from him will only ramp any transfer fee Rubin Kazan would hope to recoup.
