Vorm On His Way To Spurs

Swansea goalkeeper, Michel Vorm, is en route to White Hart Lane having agreed personal terms with the North London club. The Dutchman has spent three seasons in the Premier League having been signed by Brendan Rodgers, now managing Liverpool. Another Swansea player who appears to have traded Wales for the England capital is left back Ben Davies. Although yet to be officially announced, pictures leaked across social media show the young Welshman in training with Tottenham.

Mauricio Pochettino is busy building his new side having left Southampton, and that includes the sale of Iceland native Gylfi Sigurdsson to Swansea. Pulis will have sealed a player with lots of quality, but his growth has stagnated since joining from Hoffenheim back in 2012.

Spurs will hope that these two deals will add to their squad, as they sign a left back and a backup goalkeeper. Brad Friedel is yet to retire, but at 43 will be finished in the next year after his contract expires. Vorm offers good competition for number 1 Hugo Lloris, but should the France international look for Champions League football, the deal will look drastically different.
