Who Should Liverpool Sign In The January Transfer Window?

Liverpool has been the most entertaining side in the EPL this campaign and has put the ball in the back of the net more than any other team so far this season. They are still vulnerable at the back though which is an area they will look to strengthen once the January transfer window opens. All of the top bookmakers on gamblingwebsites.org.uk have them as the second favorites now to win the league and if they can continue their fine form there is no reason they can not make it.

If Liverpool can finally get their transfer dealings right then they have an excellent chance of winning the EPL this season. In the past they have had a disaster in the transfer market but since Klopp has taken over he has a greater say than the previous manager of who they should buy. With star man Sadio Mane out due to the African Cup of Nations commitments, the Reds may feel like they have to buy a player as cover along with strengthening their defense. Below is a list of the main rumor circulation the back pages that Liverpool is interested in signing.

Quincy Promes

It has been widely reported that Liverpool are interested in Dutch attacker Quincy Promes and they have sent scouts to watch the player on many occasions. With Sadio Mane off to the African Cup of Nations, the attacking midfielder could help to fill the gap left behind.

Christian Pulisic

Liverpool manager Klopp is a big fan of American midfield player Christian Pulisic who now plays for Borussia Dortmund. His club does not want to sell the 18-year-old so it is likely that it will not go through during the January transfer window.

Geoffrey Kondogbia

Jordan Henderson has been in fine form this season and is one of the main reason Liverpool are flying so high in the EPL this campaign. If he wants to get injured it would hair title have a major impact on their title chase which is why the signing of defensive midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia make sense. He now plays for Inter Milan and I think the player is available for around £18.5 million.

Mahmoud Dahoud

Liverpool are willing to offer around £25 million for German under 21`s player Mahmoud Dahoud and this deal definitely has traction due to the player refusing to sign a new contract. If his club Borussia Mönchengladbach get a large offer during the January transfer window, it may be too tempting for them to turn it down.

Moussa Dembele

It is no surprise that The Reds are interested in Celtic striker Moussa Dembele as he has been in sparkling form for Celtic this season in the league and Champions League. If they are going to be successful they will need to offer a huge amount to prize him away from former manager Brendan Rodgers.

Jonathan Tah

Another player who plays in the German league that Liverpool has been linked to is defender Jonathan Tah. The Reds need to strengthen their back line in January as it is the one area of the field that they have been weakest in so the transfer makes sense.

Andre Silva

Liverpool and a whole host of other clubs are interested in Portuguese player Andre Silva. It is likely this will not happen until the summer and if they are going to get him they will need to pay a huge fee.
