De Gea content at Manchester despite transfer rumours

The first choice Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has, according to Sky Sports,  debunked rumours of a move back to his homeland of Spain to play in the La Liga. The Spanish goalkeeper was aptly named the man-of-the-match for the UEFA Champions League tie between Real Madrid and Manchester United, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

De Gea produced some amazing saves one of them from the two shots taken by the Portuguese fullback Fabio Contreao that included a scissor kick save in the 60th minute. He commented that the decision to save the chance on goal “was just a very quick decision. I was acting on instinct.”

The goalkeeper will now put his focus back in the English fixtures that Manchester United will have which include the fifth round draw against Reading in the FA Cup and two Premier League matches against Queen Parks Rangers and Norwich City. The second leg for the tie against Real Madrid at Old Trafford will not be till early match.
