One of the main reasons Chelsea appear to be marching towards the Premier League title is the contribution from midfield of Spanish international Cesc Fabregas.
The 27-year-old made an immediate impact when he returned to the EPL this season from Barcelona, notching 12 assists in his first 16 matches.
That tally has tailed off in the second half of the campaign as defences have become more accustomed to him, but he is still on target to break the record of 20 set by former Arsenal team-mate Thierry Henry in 2002-3 and matched by Fabregas himself in the Gunners’ 2007-8 season.

Expect the Spaniard to be a lively presence again in front of the Sky cameras on Saturday as Chelsea, six points clear of second-placed Manchester City, attempt to take another firm stride towards the title.
