Tottenham still has Japhet Tanganga, Matt Dotherty, Sergio Reguilon and Oliver Skipp out, so will probably start with the same eleven from the week prior. Ryan Sessegnon will thus be tasked with following Trent Alexander-Arnold, which could make for an entertaining dual. Harry Kane will remain the focal point in attack, and the only potential change could see Lucas Moura coming out for the impressive Dejan Kulusevski. Son Heung-Min will probably offer the away teams best weapon, with his ability to counter at speed so dangerous.

Liverpool will be without Roberto Firmino, with a foot injury still keeping him sidelined. The defense could see Kostas Tsimikas come in, with Andy Robertson in need of a rest. Joel Matip will once more step into the league line up, with Ibrahima Konate coming out. The midfield will see a return of Jordan Henderson, with his likely partners Thiago Alcantara and Fabinho.

The attack for the reds will have Luis Diaz as a certain starter, and the match up of the day will surely be him and Cristian Romero. The South American contest of two brilliant performers could be the pivotal battle, and each player will be desperate to win. Mohamed Salah will take up his right hand berth, and Sadio Mane will probably start in the middle.

Jurgen Klopp versus Antonio Conte is a match up of two genuine world class coaches. The needs of each will intensity the affair, and should make the game box office viewing. With the urgency and talent within the home side, the Anfield atmosphere should see them prevail, though it will inevitably be a huge test in order to get there.
