Only four games to go and after a decent weekend, the model struggled in mid-week. Few people would have foreseen Manchester City failing to beat Sunderland and the EPL Model didn't either. I'd warned that the model in its current form can't adjust well to the huge changes in Pulis' Crystal Palace and that proved to be the case against Everton, giving us two wrong calls on Wednesday night.

We had a little bit of fun with the FA Cup last week and although I warned against betting on the model's calls (as it's untested in the cup), it went on to record three out of four correct results, only missing out on a prediction of Liverpool to beat Arsenal from the all-Premier League fixtures. We got the games at Swansea, Liverpool and Palace correct and the controversial calls of Man U to draw and Man City to struggle against Fulham turned out to be inaccurate, rather than clever.
