Premier League Top Players So Far | Goal Scorers, Chance Creators, Assists, Possession Wins

Top Players So Far

Welcome to our monthly edition of the Premier League’s Top Players. With only 8 games left for the majority of the sides it’s a good time to look at where players are and see what players could achieve. As always you can use the buttons at the bottom of the page to navigate or use the Quick Navigation links to navigate between page.

Top Scorers

In last month’s Top Player article the same five players were in the Top 5 but Robin van Persie was top of the list and he’d scored 19 goals. The article was written on February 13th van Persie has not scored a Premier League goal since then for Manchester United. In the same time Gareth Bale has hit three for Spurs and Luis Suarez has hit five for Liverpool to lead the table. Michu is in a similar scoring drought to van Persie as he also sits on fifteen goals since the last time we wrote this article.

Surely the player of the year is decided on a consistent run of form and both van Persie and Bale have had dips with van Persie’s being recent and Bale starting slow. From our point of view Luis Suarez is a contender along with Juan Mata for all round consistent play throughout this season (not from a top scorer point of view but more on this later)
