Moyes will get money for Midfield man

Manchester United boss David Moyes has been assured of significant transfer funds as he plans to turn around the Red Devil’s stuttering start to the Premier League Season.

The champions are targeting a central midfielder and a left back and Moyes has been assured that once he identifies the targets the funds will be available to him.

Moyes has also been told that the board have no plans to appoint a Director of Football to handle all transfer business and that he will have the final say on any deals.

One stumbling point could be the availability of the top level players that Moyes would want to bring in to the club.

We would like to bring people in but are those players available?” Moyes asked after his club’s FA Cup defeat to Swansea on Sunday. “There is an urgency but there’s no point in me hyping it up because the players we would like to bring in are probably not available in January.”

There is no doubt that Manchester United are in real need of reinforcements, they are struggling in the League and have been knocked out of the FA Cup.

They have not been helped by injuries to key players such as Robin Van Persie, Nemanja Vidic and Summer signing Marouane Fellaini.

My take on it is that United need to do some good business this window as if they miss out on Champions League qualification then they will struggle to attract players come the Summer.
