There are certain players we miss in the Premier League and then many we don’t. Are we overly bothered that Joey Barton is out of the top flight right now? Or that Florent Sinama Pongolle is now plying his trade in the Swiss Challenge League? Arguably not.
But do we miss the likes of Ronaldo, Bale, and Suarez getting people off their seats week in week out? Of course we do.
They’ve left a lasting impact on the league and will go down as some of the greats to play in the game. Young players wish to be amalgamations of them, whilst many of us would love to see an amalgamation of the players right now, a Ron-ale-ez if you will.
A new, fun face mash-up called Game Face does exactly that, showing how a player with the pace of Bale, the tenacity of Suarez, and the power and skill of Ronaldo would look. And we have to say, they don’t look pretty.
Not only does it put together players of the Premier League, including Wayne Rooney and Sergio Aguero, from recent seasons but also players we would love to see including Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Andrea Pirlo – whose bushy beard and flowing locks even make Suarez’s face look cool.
It’s the chance to create an ultimate Premier League hero and is well and truly the real meaning of the term ‘fantasy football’.
