Rogers, who joined Villa from Middlesbrough for £15 million in February 2024, has quickly become one of the Premier League’s breakout stars. His tally of eight goals and nine assists this season underlines his rapid adaptation to top-flight football and his growing influence under Unai Emery.
While Rogers is said to be content at Villa Park and not agitating for a move, sources close to the situation suggest he remains “open to a move if the right opportunity comes”. Chelsea lead chase for dynamic midfielder
Enzo Maresca is believed to be a key driving force behind Chelsea’s interest. The Chelsea boss previously coached Rogers at Manchester City’s academy.
