Report: PSG Close In On Zabarnyi Deal As Bournemouth Face Summer Blow
Paris Saint-Germain are in advanced talks to sign Ukrainian international Illia Zabarnyi from Bournemouth, with a fee of around €60 million being negotiated, according to Matteo Moretto. The move marks a significant moment in the young defender’s career, and a crucial juncture for the Cherries, who are on the verge of losing one of their standout players from the 2024–25 campaign.
PSG have been admirers of Zabarnyi for some time, having first shown interest during the January transfer window. Despite strong intent, a deal could not be reached at the time. Now, with the French champions determined to strengthen their defensive core, manager Luis Enrique appears to have prioritised the 22-year-old centre back.
