As a Hull fan, this is exactly the sort of report that gets people buzzing. You come up to the Premier League and the fear is always that your club will shop small, play it safe and hope for the best. This does not feel like that. This feels ambitious.
Bahoya is young, quick, technical and already tested at a good level. No, the goal numbers do not jump off the page, but that is not the whole story. Players coming from strong leagues often need the right platform, and Hull could offer that. If Sergej Jakirovic and the recruitment team believe they can unlock more from him, that is good enough for me.
What is encouraging is that Hull appear to have acted decisively. Agreement in principle with Frankfurt is not a rumour thrown around for clicks, it suggests work has been done.
