As a Tottenham supporter, this report is honestly hard to take in. If the club truly see Sanchez as the answer, it feels like panic rather than planning. We were told Kinsky was the future, the new No.1, the goalkeeper to build around. We then brought in Dubravka for experience. So why are we here already, looking at another keeper and, of all options, one being described as “one of the most error-prone goalkeepers in the Premier League over recent years”?

That line alone should be enough to end the conversation. Tottenham have made too many decisions over the years that felt reactive, and this has the same smell. Yes, Roberto De Zerbi knows him, and yes, familiarity can help, but Spurs should not be making a move of this importance based on old comfort. We should be signing players because they clearly improve the team.

There is also the Kinsky issue. If the club believed in him a few weeks ago, they should still believe in him now. Blocking his pathway so quickly would send a dreadful message. It would suggest Tottenham do not fully trust their own recruitment or their own long-term thinking.
