Andre Santos Leaves Arsenal

Arsene Wenger has confirmed on Arsenal’s Official Website that Andre Santos has joined Brazilian club Gremio on loan for the rest of the season, after finding first team opportunities limited at Arsenal this season.

The Brazilian has recently found himself as the club’s third choice left back after Kieran Gibbs and new signing Nacho Monreal, after failing to impress in his 8 Premier League appearances this season.

Andre Santos was excited at the prospect of playing under Vanderlai Luxemburgo at Gremio saying  that he had ” dreamed of working alongside the Gremio manager” and that ” He is a top manager in our football”
