Most Creative Players on Saturday – Match Day 5

Top Creativity Match Day 5

As shown above Andre Schurrle was the most creative player in the league yesterday as he created seven chances for his team mates. There have been doubts about Schurrle’s finishing from the Chelsea faithful but he showed a creative spark yesterday by beating out the Premier League’s most creative player this season and team mate – Eden Hazard. The seven chances created on Saturday make Schurrle the Premier League’s 3rd most creative player this season behind Hazard and Adam Johnson.

Gabby Agbonlahor continued an impressive season by creating six chances in Villa’s 2nd away win (also their 2nd overall win) of the season at Norwich. Agbonlahor created the winning goal too notching up his second assist of the season (joint highest in the league). Will his appearances earn him an England call up? That’s an article for another day!

Papiss Cisse isn’t scoring many but he certainly created many chances yesterday but these were created in vain as Newcastle were humbled by Hull. Speaking of newcomers Hull: Robert Brady has been in excellent form for them so far this season and he certainly didn’t disappoint on Saturday with a goal and an assist to help Hull City beat Newcastle at St James’ Park. An excellent start to the season for Steve Bruce’s men.

Robert Snodgrass also created four chances seeing out the Top 5 creators from Saturday.
