Would Liverpool part with Sterling?

Could Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers be ready to let Raheem Sterling head down to South Wales for a 6 month loan deal with his former club Swansea City?

The story is that Liverpool plan to bring in Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah and then make space for him by letting Raheem Sterling join Swansea City until the end of the season.

Swansea boss Michael Laudrup is known to be a big fan of Sterling and would relish making him a part of his squad, even for such a short period of time.

Would Brendan Rodgers sanction a move for Sterling? The England international has netted three times in his last seven appearances and appears back to the form of last season.

As you can see, Sterling has been in great creative form so far this season, he has created over twenty chances this season so far and five clear cut chances. Sterling Stats

Although there were rumours of Sterling going out on loan earlier in the season, it would be strange to let him go now when he is in such a rich vein of form.

To expect Mohamed Salah to arrive and immediately match Sterling’s output would be putting the 21 year old under immediate pressure so early on in his Liverpool career.

Personally I would be very surprised if Raheem Sterling left Anfield during this transfer window. Liverpool are looking to build a squad and will not be keen to let any first team players leave anytime in the future.
