Mourinho fumes at Foy

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has called on the Barclays Premier League to stop sending Chris Foy to referee their games.

Following his sides 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa, Mourinho was highly critical of Foy’s performance.

The game saw Mourinho himself sent to the stands and Ramires and Willian were both given red cards.

In his post game press conference, Mourinho said “Maybe it’s helpful that the (Premier League referees’) committee doesn’t send him (Foy) to our matches,”

“I don’t have the right to request (that). It’s just I think they have to analyse the situation and see if every time he has Chelsea – or not every time – but many times he has Chelsea and problems are there, I think maybe it would be a good decision.”

“I never care who the ref is. I don’t want to know. But during the week the players were speaking about the situation and I think from now on the next time we have Mr Foy I have to work my people in a different way.”

Perhaps this is Mourinho deflecting any criticism away from his side. It was a poor performance from Chelsea and the defeat is a blow to their hopes of winning this years Barclays Premier League.
