Eto’o Hits Out at Mourinho Again

Disgruntled Cameroon forward Samuel Eto’o has hit out at his critics as well as Jose Mourinho over the legitimacy of his age. In an interview with the Confederation of African Football website the Chelsea striker labelled his manager as a “puppet” which will surely point him towards the exit door after one season in the Premier League.

“Contrary to what a puppet says about my age, I am still physically fit. At 33, I feel real good. I have proven that I could do better than youths.”

Eto’o played under Mourinho at Inter Milan and won a Champions League with the Portuguese coach, and had been hoped to add more goals than he did alongside Torres and Demba Ba; a critical weak spot in Mourinho’s side. With rumours of Atletico Madrid star Diego Costa joining Chelsea next season, one of their ill-fated strikers will more than likely leave.

Mourinho ended on bad terms at Real Madrid, and following comments by star player Eden Hazard after they were knocked out of the Champions League semi-final, one must wonder what lies ahead this summer for the Stamford Bridge club.
