Liverpool visit bottom of the table Queens Park Rangers this afternoon with a chance to reach as high as fourth if they are able to win by four goals. QPR will be wanting to re-create the famous 3-2 comeback win from a few years ago, their only victory against Liverpool in their last five meetings. Liverpool will be hoping to achieve back to back wins for the first time this season after a topsy turvy start.
Goals are an issue for Liverpool and although they have a lot of players returning from injury it’s the one major setback to Daniel Sturridge that will cause more headaches for Liverpool as they lack that finishing touch up top with Mario Balotelli yet to score in the Premier League. More onus on the likes of Jordan Henderson, Raheem Sterling, Adam Lallana and Steven Gerrard to chip in with the goals in this game.
QPR have lacked goals all season with only 4 scored and conceded 15. They’re on a 3 game losing streak and will want to get at least a point from a game where they face a mis-firing Liverpool side.
