Arsenal are desperate for a win. The Gunners have dropped out of the top four after a loss to Sheffield United and a draw at home to Crystal Palace. They cannot afford to drop more points and fall further away from the top four.
Wolverhampton have rebounded from their slow start. They’re unbeaten in their last five matches. That said, they’re still settling for too many draws. A win would be huge for their Europa League push.
Reiss Nelson is Arsenal’s only injury absentee. He is out with a knee injury, according to PremierInjuries.com.
Wolves are mostly healthy but have a few injury concerns. Willy Boly will miss out with an injured fibula. Morgan Gibbs-White’s status is a doubt, according to PremierInjuries.com.
Arsenal: Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang
Arsenal are extremely reliant on Aubameyang. It’s not surprise that their slump in results coincides with him not scoring. He’ll need to get back on track for Arsenal to succeed this season.
Wolverhampton: Joao Moutinho
Wolves have an opportunity to dominate Arsenal’s midfield. Moutinho will have to be at the top of his game if they are to do that. He has been Wolves most creative midfielder, leading them with 1.7 key passes per 90 minutes according to Whoscored.com. His creativity will be needed for them to get all three points.
Arsenal struggled to beat Wolves last season and we can expect more of the same.
Prediction: 1-1 Draw
