Players That Could Be In Line For A Big Move In The EPL

The Premier League season is quickly approaching the festive period, and with that comes the opening of the January transfer window. It is a renowned time of the year for expensive buys, but sometimes clubs’ need a specific player and need to pay the price it takes to get their man.

After reading this online betting sites guide, you will notice that the two favourites for the Premier League title will be appeased with their squads, while the chasing player will desperately be trying to bring in new players so that they can achieve their goals for the season. But, which players could be on the move? And where could they possibly end up?

Callum Wilson

It has been an excellent start to the season for Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson, and he is already attracting interest from a host of the top clubs in the Premier League. He has scored five goals in his 12 appearances so far this season, and that strong return has been rewarded with an England call-up. However, it would seem that he could be on the move in January, with Manchester United keen to snap him up.

Any potential deal could be in the region of £30 million, which means the Cherries will certainly be getting a good amount of money for the Englishman.

John McGinn

Another player that has been linked with a host of the top clubs has been Aston Villa’s John McGinn. He set the pulses raising last season with his excellent performances in the Championship, and that form has continued in his debut campaign in the top-flight. He is a brilliant modern-day box-to-box midfielder that can do everything.

He thrives at winning the ball back and can travel at lightning speed to change the game from defence to attack effortlessly. The Red Devils were knocked back in their approaches for McGinn in the summer, but they may return with an increased offer following his strong start to the campaign. In his 12 appearances this season, he has scored three goals and also registered two assists.

James Maddison

You would have been forgiven for thinking that James Maddison has played his football in the Premier League throughout his career. But, in reality, this is only his second season in the top-flight. He has an influential role in the vibrant Brendan Rodgers side, and any deal to take the attacking midfielder away from the club in January could be huge. But, there is certainly a demand for the number ten.

He has already scored four goals this season and contributed two assists for Leicester City, and a move to a bigger club looks destined. United and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with the Foxes man, but any move could be more likely to happen in the summer as opposed to the winter. He would seamlessly drop into any of the big sides, and that is a testament to his ability on the pitch.
