As the most prestigious domestic league competition there is high demand for Premier League sides across the world. That’s why many English teams will be spreading their wings this summer and going global. Some are going west. Some are heading east. 

Here is a list of when and where all the Premier League teams will be playing this summer in your definitive Premier League preseason guide. 

What Premier League teams are playing in the US this summer?

The Premier League teams that are heading to the US this summer are: Arsenal, Aston Villa, Brentford, Brighton, Chelsea, Fulham, Manchester United and Newcastle United. 

There are two separate tournaments being held Stateside. The official Premier League Summer series was recently announced featuring a whole host of English sides going head to head.

There is also the Soccer Champions Tour featuring Arsenal and Manchester United who will go up against European giants AC Milan, Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid.

What Premier League sides are not playing in the US in 2023/24?

A lot of Premier League teams are looking to tap into the Asian market and will be heading to the Far East, South East Asia and Australia this summer. 

Premier League champions Manchester City are heading out to South Korea and are scheduled to play La Liga side Atletico Madrid in the peninsula.

Wolverhampton Wanderers will also travel to the Korean Republic as part of their preseason tour while Tottenham Hotspur will make stops in Thailand, Singapore and Australia.

Liverpool were originally scheduled to head to the US but have shelved those plans. They will initially travel to coach Jürgen Klopp’s homeland Germany, before a brief stint in Singapore to play Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

Are there any other European soccer teams playing in the US?

Yes. As mentioned before, the US is hosting Spanish and Italian giants as part of the Soccer Champions Tour which also features Arsenal and Manchester United.

You are able to buy tickets through your team’s website or by visiting the respective websites listed above. Most events seem to be licensed through Ticketmaster.
