Harry Kane to score @3/1 (4.0). Industry best price is 5/2. Take the bet at http://goo.gl/k6uH2W
Harry Kane has started to convert his Europa League form into goals in the Premier League and it’s good news for Tottenham fans. The young English striker may only have scored five goals in 14 Premier League games at a low average of 0.36 goals per game but his lack of game time has been a result of the club easing him into the fast and furious nature of domestic competition. Kane has played regularly in the Europa League and has rattled in five goals in five games as Tottenham qualified for the knockout stages.
There has been an inconsistency about Tottenham this season which continues to keep them in the shadow of the teams occupying the Champions League places. Mauricio Pochettino was brought in by Daniel Levy to match results to the club’s off-field ambition of moving to a new stadium and joining Europe’s elite. However, while Pochettino’s command of the English language might have improved since he swapped Southampton to Spurs, the jury is still out on his team’s footballing education.
Manchester United, meanwhile, have tightened up at the back. Louis van Gaal might have indicated after the 1-1 draw with Aston Villa that it was a serious dent to United’s title hopes, but that is surely a measure of how far United have come this season after a sticky start. Van Gaal has overseen a dramatic improvement in performances and a rise up the table which has seen United berthed among the European contenders and even rivals to Chelsea and Manchester City for the Premier League top spot.
