Players of the week | Man of the Match from Match Day 11 Games

Chelsea 1 – 1 Liverpool

The final game of the weekend saw Luis Suarez score a late equaliser after John Terry had given his side the lead on his return to the starting XI, only to be stretchered off before half time.

Liverpool set up in a 5-3-2 formation, using Glen Johnson and Jose Enrique to exploit the lack of width in the home side’s team.

My MOTM goes to Jose Enrique, who was given free reign of the left flank as Juan Mata drifted central and failed to track his compatriot’s marauding runs down.

Enrique’s influence in the attacking half is reflected by the fact that 71% of his passes were made in this zone, and no player on the pitch made more passes in the final third.

The wing-back even had a chance to win the game late on, forcing a good save from Cech.

He was solid defensively, winning all seven of his tackles and 12 out of 18 of his ground duels (67%).
