Tottenham 3 – 1 West Ham
Jermain Defoe scored a brace to sink his former club and move Spurs back into contention for an early top 4 spot.
The England forward has looked in lethal form this term, second to only Carlos Tevez and Michu, with a Clear Cut Chance conversion of 50%, for players who have attempted more than 30 shots so far this season.
Defoe was joined by Bale, as the joint top player for shots attempted against West Ham (7), and the pair have looked to thrive off the fast paced counter attacking strategy implemented by Villas-Boas.
Defoe also created 2 other chances for his side and completed 100% of his dribbles to round of a sterling performance.
